Question to all. Did the 67 hipo's leave the factory with a 6000 or 8000 tach as a standard?
6 k or 8k Tach

I've only seen 67 Shelby's but they are 8,000 rpm, not 6,000 rpm tach.<img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

My '67K has the 8K tach...

I strongly believe that all K codes would have come from the factory with an 8k tach.

In 65-66, a tach (rally-pac) was strictly an option.
For 67, believe there has been discussion on the topic before. Seems like I remember manual trans cars getting a tach by default, but auto's being optional.

One wonders what was in the other " round circle " on the dash, if not a tach, in 1967.<img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Oil pressure and ammeter if I remember correctly. I know it was changed in '68.
