Does anyone know anything about the EFFPI steering wheels? It says EFFPI on the front and Made in Italy on the back. Looks to have the turn signal cancellation on the hub. Was this an upgrade option?

Good question for the Shelby SAAC forum, but that is a '66 Shelby over-the-counter optional wheel that many put on '66 Shelbys. Rick

I'll buy it. send a pm.

Your wheel looks to be in excellent condition. As for value, I have seen these wheels being advertised at a little over $2k. Not sure if people are getting that, but that is where they seem to be starting.

it certainly appears to be just that. According to the last SAAC registry, that wheel was sold over the counter (retail), but was not sold as an option from the factory on new GT-350's.

That is an object with a high lovelyness factor

Wow, one of those things you buy and try to find a car to put around it...

Thank you guys for the feedback. I guess I'll have to keep my eyes out for ebay auctions on these. Mine is NOS so I'm not sure how much value it would add over the restored ones or if there would be a difference. I guess it depends on the quality of the restoration..

Give the Forum guys and gals a shot at it before you get it to EBay. Thanks.

I definetely agree, the people on this forum kick a**.

Original wheels, early style, did not have the EFFPI on the spokes. That designation was used on a later over the counter wheel built in 67-68 and had different spokes. I would recommend finding a used wheel locally and set them next to each other to compare. The differences will be easy to see.

I have an EFFPI and a non-EFFPI as shown below.
The EFFPI is on the right and is not the same as the one posted in the original post. It has plastic caps on the end of the spokes, but the other with no writing does not. How are the "early" ones different these 3?
