FOR SALE HiPo main caps

    I have for sale a superb set of HiPo main caps. They have never been machined nor are they pitted. They are complete to include the

    C3O E-A rear main cap.


    They are not cheap but if you are building a correct HiPo CLONE engine using a correct date coded block and plan to photograph the internals and build then this is what you need.


    If you are building a standard block to HiPo specs and will tell people it is correct without benifit of photographing the parts and build before closing the engine then what you need is Mexican main caps. They are much cheaper and will work just as well.


    If you are a FANATIC about the restoration of your K code or Shelby then this is what you need. E-mail me for pics as I do not know how to post them here.

    Chuck, did you sell your cap set at Columbus? That was a steal, I should have jumped at those, but really don't need them. You had some very nice stuff, and it was nice to meet you. I almost bought a truck at the car corral, great buy, but no room at home.

    Terry it was great meeting you too and yes they are gone, they were the set that people turned ther nose up at because of the extra casting number on the rear main cap, did you see the restored driver grade 1939 FORD 9-N tractor for sale for $2100.00. if i had a farm i would have bought it. overall it was a good show it was my second time there in 15 years , How is your fairlaine doing .

    Remember those heads that you arranged for me that were coming to New Zealand, well they're still coming! Last week they were in Sweden, don't know how but at least someone is tracking them. One day they will arrive here I guess. Good luck with your main caps, I never thought to ask what else you had and have since bought some off ebay
