Owner says 5F09719981 and also states first 9 could be a point of contention as it could be an 8; however, sure looks like a 9 to me.
Yet another HEH-T toploader to add to the growing list of HiPo Mustangs with a late '65 VIN stamp.
Quite an interesting find, and in such an unlikely location to boot. I wonder why it was rebuilt if the original internals were not worn?

Alex... I had the owner send me another picture of the VIN and it is a 9. What I am a little suspect of is the 1. All 1's I have seen stamped on the Kars have that little under line at the bottom. However, that is the spot on the trans where Dearborn built cars are stamped that I have seen.
