I removed my Jan 65 Gas Pedal(no trim ring provision) which I believed was an original. I've been cleaning it and have not seen a part number...Is it a repro or did some not have a part number?

The part number should be stamped in the rubber.

Unless there's been a new development, there aren't any repros of that particular style of pedal available. The early disc brake pedal and the early gas pedals without the trim ring indentations are still, as yet, not reproduced. The images below are from the gas pedal of an unresotred 10/64 SJ car.

The early style clutch pedal without the indentation is available as a repro from a number of suppliers now and it's a good quality part.

Thanks Dave, It looks like I was looking at the plate and not the bottom of the pad.

The later version has the engineering number on the back edge of the rubber, so it can be seen without pulling the rubber off. Although, if I remember right, the rubber is bonded to the metal on the later version.
