Car Lift Recommendations

  • I,ve had a Back Yard Buddy four post lift for about 10 yrs, no problems. Little more money then some others but is well built.Only draw back is for suspension or brake work, you have to use a bottle jack and stands, lift comes with jacking plates. . Little extra work but better than on the ground. I never bolted it to the floor, have no worries about storeing car under it...

  • I have a Bend Pak and it has been great. Stay away from the cheap imports, if you care about your car (and your life) you will not trust one of them. They throw in lots of extras (Casters, oil change cans, jack plates) but they are just no good. The Bend Pak has a double lock system (you need an air compressor to un-lock it). Mine is not bolted down and is as solid as can be. It sure would suck if my K Code Conv came down and crushed my Corvette! Hope this helps.....

  • At least the K would be on top, and hopefully unscathed.<img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

  • I have had a BendPak since fall of 2005. I use it nearly everyday. Very good lift for the money. I paid $2400 shipped to my door. Easy assembly and works well. It came with casters adn drip pans.

240 volt, and you need air pressure for the safety locks.
