  • Strong money for a 67 Kar, although most of the cars at that auction brought strong money.

  • $157K for a '67 is a strong price ... I wonder what the going rate is for a 67 K-code F/B? Mine is fully restored and looks and runs great ... Wimbledon White 4 speed, factory AM/FM ... Hard to find an accurate price guide given how few of these there still are out there.

  • This Kar just sold again on BAT for $160,000.00 on March 11, 2025:

This 1967 Ford Mustang GT is a K-code fastback that is the only Mustang produced in this specification for the model year according to Kevin Marti. The car underwent a multi-year refurbishment which was completed in 2011. Power comes from a rebuilt 289ci HiPo V8 paired with a replacement four-speed Toploader manual transmission, and the exterior has been refinished in Dark Moss Green. Features include the GT Equipment Group, 14″ styled steel wheels, front disc brakes, GT side stripes, fog lights, Parchment vinyl upholstery, a Sport Deck rear bench, the Interior Decor Group, a center console, a Deluxe steering wheel, and an AM radio. This Mustang GT fastback was purchased by the current owner in 2023 and is now offered in Arizona on dealer consignment with an Elite Marti Report, a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a clean Texas title in the owner’s name.

The car was delivered from the factory in Dark Moss Green (Y) and the exterior features GT side stripes, a GT fuel cap, fog lights, and quad exhaust outlets. A touched-up blemish is seen near the center of the leading edge of the hood.

The 14″ styled steel wheels are mounted with F70-14 Goodyear Polyglas white-letter tires. A matching spare is stowed in the trunk. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.

The refreshed cabin features seating upholstered in Parchment vinyl with a contrasting dash pad and carpets. The car was ordered with a center console, an overhead console, deluxe seat belts, an AM radio, a Sport Deck fold-down rear bench, and the Interior Decor Group.

The Deluxe steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 648 miles, which is the distance covered since the completion of the refurbishment. Approximately 50 miles were added under current ownership, and total mileage is unknown.

The K-code 289ci HiPo V8 was rebuilt in 2010, and it was factory rated at 271 horsepower. Compression readings are provided in the gallery.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a rebuilt four-speed Toploader manual transmission. Additional underside photos are provided below.

The window sticker and Elite Marti report show initial delivery to Beasley Ford in Cincinnati, Ohio, along with factory equipment and production information.
