Frame on restoration of a RARE, rust free, low mileage car with an original numbers matching K-Code Hi-Po 289 engine. 7,273 cars out of the 680,000 Mustangs produced in 1965 had this K-Code Hi-Po engine option.
Other original equipment includes factory 4-speed transmission, front disc brakes, manual choke and two bullet shaped guages for RPM and clock that are both working. All exterior and interior lights are in working condition.
The car has bucket seats and Pony Interior that has been restored to factory specifications. Radiator was replaced with a bigger capacity unit that stays cool even in a hot, slow moving parade!
Tires are GoodYear Eagle Radials P215 60R14 on original rims. Some of the chrome is new and all is rust free.
Odometer shows approximately 51,000 miles which I can not prove is correct but car runs and drives very well. I drive it 3 or 4 times a week during the 4 months I am in Sarasota, Florida, which is where the car is located.
