Lower side Stripes on a Koupe

This is a December 64 build San Jose kar and here's a photo of the side showing the stripes. Its too early for a GT so were the stripes just the same on the fender as the door without the mustang letters inside them ?

Any idea's ?

i have seen a few factory stripe kits on non gt mustangs. yes it would be the same on the fenders without the letters. i have seen various lettering that appeared to be made with some kind of tape. i remember stripes on one car with GT 289 in that area.

Any stick-on stripes on a non-GT would have been either dealer-installed or done by a previous owner.
