Anybody know if the 3.89 was just the standard gear ratio for 65 with the Hipo and if the 4.11 was optional?

I believe that the 3.50 was standard with 3.89 and 4.11 optional.

I know in the Fairlane the 3.89 was standard with options for 3.50 and 4.11. (65 Fairlane HiPo automatics were standard with 3.50.) Probably the same for the Mustang.

3.89 was standard for 65-66 GT350.
