65 hipo fan spacer

Hi, trying to explain to AMK products that in the fourth edition it states that the spacer is 2.360, they say in the ford books it is closer to 3.5, is that possible, he says they have been selling the engine bolt kit for 7 years with no issues, any help would be great thanks Otto

Hi,

Strange that AMK says that the 65-66

fan spacer is 3.5" when their catalog

says 2.2" as the length excluding the pilot

button. I was able to get a 2.36" including

the pilot button in a trade and bought the bolts

from AMK and they fit fine and their length

matches what the 65 Assembly Manual specifies.
