has anyone had problems with fumes
after restoring the engine and bay?
the heat from the engine will
cause the new paint to smell
and wondering if this could be a
problem if all the tiny holes in the FW
were not sealed up?
thanks

Dave, There are always "fumes" associated with a newly restored car-paint, interior, rubber, lubricants, gasoling, ect, I never noticed anything super offensive.
Suggest you simply open the windows and go for a good long drive to get it warm and bake the paint, oil, etc.
Dave, I just sent you a PM.

hi fred
i did not receive a PM
dave
The PM was for Round2K Dave Wallace as I have been trying to reach him for a while and his regular email is not working correctly.
-Fred-
have almost finished fixing all
the holes in the FW and floor pans.
now to fix the gassy carb smell
and check to make sure there are no
exhaust leaks etc.
