Woh can tell me what bolts they used on the 65
San Jose cars to mount the door to the hinge and the
hinge to the A pillar.
Did the screws have star washers or the round washers
like used on 66 cars fenders?

i'm pretty green about these mustangs....
but my '65 FB doors had bolts w/stars
and turned into a simple 'scrap' metal plate
that simply fell to the floor when the bolts were out!

The 22 door screws in 1965 were 3/8-16X1 5/16 hex head with the external tooth (star) lock washers. Head markings are "23", "26", "an anchor" and probably others. The screw were phosphated and oiled and were painted with the door on the car. That plate that falls down was natural.
