Rally Pac questions

Hi Guys

Would someone please give me positive answers to a couple of questions regarding the low profile rally pac. My car has a scheduled build date of 13R 1965, would the clock for this period of low profile rally pac have a number 6 on the dial or not?

As my car has a standard interior would the rally pac be steering column colour or black?. I have conflicting info on this.

My 66 rally pac is black. Standard int, unrestored original family car.

Thanks for putting that pic up, was your car ordered with a rally pac from the factory?

Yes, ordered brand new by my Dad! From what I've read only deluxe interiors were color coded, but I'm sure variations got thru like always.

Typically the LP rally-pac would be color coordinated to the steering column cover, but it is not uncommon to find them black as indicated in the pic.

Many of the low profile rally pacs in the very early production GT Mustangs and vehicles with pony interior were black, no matter what color the interior. After late April or early May of 65 they began to show up the color of the interior.I do not think there is any cast in stone date when this happened, but by maybe mid May most of the rally-pacs were colored to fit in with the interior colors.
