Does anyone have a picture they could share as to where the correct location of the knob/bracket mounts to the dash?
'65 K manual choke knob/bracket mounting?

Did the mounting location vary from one assembly plant to the other?
Did the line workers just bolt the bracket where ever they felt like it?

The assembly manuals for 65-66 show the choke bracket mounted
to the far left under the dash. 67's, I don't have but have a picture of an original choke also mounted to the far left.
However, the 67 knob doesn't have the C ingraved.

The bracket has a locating tab, so I don't think it would go just anywhere. Typical locations are on the left side of the steering wheel or below the ignition switch.

The bracket location is on the far left side of the dash with the foot of the L pointed toward the driver.

OK, Thanks!! Thats where mine seems to be......it has the whole thing kind of pointing at the driver and not straight out like one would think--almost as if it were an afterthought at the Ford assembly line.
