Rear Brake Drum Finish

What's the correct finish for rear brake drums, for a '65? Natural, black, silver.....?

Also, what are the typical markings on the drums to identify them as original?

Natural casting. Originals have "FoMoCo" cast into the edge and a date code.

If you have SS wheels there is a callout in the Ford assembly manuals for semi-gloss black paint on the drums.
