I'm just about ready to have the red oxide applied to the bottom of the car. Does anyone have an undercarriage view of what the finish color overspray looks like on top of the red oxide?
Thanks,
Rick

There are actually two oversprays on the underside, the body color and the pinch weld 'black' out. The body was painted by workers (sober or not) so is more random underneath. The pinch weld was machine painted after the body so should be on top of body color but more even. Suposedly, dark body cars were not given the pinch weld treatment, but I was told by a San Jose paint shop worker that they did it anyway.

Thanks Jim, I appreciate the info.
Anyone have pictures I can show to my paint guy?

note where the car was attached to the line.
Thanks, that helps out a lot.
Of course the areas that got hit with overspray differed by year and plant..... best to copy (if your cars indicators are gone) a car built at the same plant, same time
