Arvinode Exhaust System

Yes. The Arvinode system was used before the GT duals were put into production.

Dave, if you look at the Ford parts catalog page that I faxed you it shows the Arvinode system with both the standard and GT tips after 3/22/65.

Fred - I noticed that, but isn't it correct that the GT duals were used from the introduction of the trumpet tips?

According to Bob Mannels book on page I-19, note 7:

"In TSB #16, Article 315, dated 6/1/65, Ford indicated discontinuance occured 2/2/65 at the Metuchen and Dearborn plants and 4/4/65 at San Jose."

This would indicate to me that the early Hipo GT cars should have had this system. Hopefully someone on this forum has actually seen one.
