Real axle tubes

I ran in to a guy that has two mint original hipo axle tubes. They are the best ones Ive ever seen. he has a 65 version and a 66 version. He wants to sell them both for $4K and he wont separate. he wants all or none. I only need one and my car is such that is could be either one being a very early 66. if anyone wants a super mint housing give me a call. If I cant find someone to buy one Ill keep looking. You should price shop a little.

2 grand a piece is WAY too high for the housing alone - IMHO.

If they are complete rear ends with axles, brakes, and the correct axle bracket/bumper $2000 is OK but a little on the high end of the price range.

Others here may be looking for the other housing - but in the economy today money may be tight.

I know its on the high side but you also have a rust free no problem housing. You can easily spend 20 Hrs. repairing a rust belt housing and thats what you end up with, a rusty housing full of bondo and primer. These you can glass bead prime and paint

Jim - I agree with RalphJr...these can be had for much less. The housing owner is looking to hit a "homerun" with you asking this price. Check Craigslist in the Southwest and give it a little time. I've seen them in the last 6-8 months for as low as a grand. Don't waste your money.
