I am in need of a set of leaf spring perches. Mine have been butcherd by someone and beyond saving. I have been told the 8" perches are different. I have a late 66 car, but it is a 65 housing,if someone would be interested in a trade for a 66 housing that would be great too.

Well thats funny..I was told that the 8 and nine inch perches were the same...the only thing that ford did that was modular..compared to UGGGGG ch&%*&%y
Maybe my info is incorrect. Are the 8" and 9" perches the same?
well they 'look' the same. are there numbers on spring perches?
just for clarification are we are talking about the shock plates..or are we talking about the perches that are welded to the rear end housing?
I am asking about the welded perches.
As far as I know they are different on 65-66 Mustangs
with 8 3/4" and 9" rear axles.
The bolt head for the spring center bolt is longer
which means the perches must be different, i.e. deeper
in the center.
