A retired General Motors Tool and Die Maker from Saturn has joined Mr-hi-p.com and better housings will result. His name is Chris Woods and he is a great personality and a great jig and fixture man. We are taking all the variations in dimensions out of the housings. The Factory housings were in no way repeating the same measurements, from housing to housing. Especially from 1967 on. Better hands always produce better products. He is showing me things I knew nothing about in the center sections. We are on the right path and we are now running a small add in Mustang Monthly. We are on the move and as hard as times are we press on for our customers and the Ford Mustang. This is a passion and we intend to out do ourselves for our customers. So far all good reports. Thanks for the testimonials, Don Quillen

In the past I have sold my housings for $1,000.00 each. 2 yrs in a row I dropped the price between Thanksgiving and New Years to $800.00 each as a Christmas Special. I want to thank those who have purchased our housings for their feedback and testimonials which have been all good.

Due to the increase in steel, labor and welding materials I must increase our price to 1,200.00 each. This will keep them available and ready for those finishing their projects and others who want a stronger housing and gears for increased horsepower. This is still a great product for the price and is affordable for what you get. It has been my greatest pleasure to make this contribution for us Mustangers. Thanks Don Quillen, Mr-Hi-Po.com

Before I do something I post it on the exchange and wait for feedback. I have felt it is unethical to our wonderful passion. I wait for responses and feel inside it's not the right thing to do. It takes away the value associated with numbers correct. Therefore, I will not give it a second thought. It is not the right thing to do. With Technology today, anything is possible but most of the time unethical.Thank you for your input and opinion. That's why I use this forum to throw things out there and see what should or should not be done. Don Quillen

Are there any interest out there in K- Code land in having the correct date code put on your original housing plate.I have a new process in which I can remove the incorrect date code and replace it with the correct date code. All you will have to do is take the 3rd member apart and send me the part where the date code is cast in. I am going to do a couple of mine and post the pictures on the exchange. If you have any interest in having yours corrected email me at savethestangs@aol.com

Yes, the 63 Falcon tubes neck down just like the k- code housings, It it just shorter and the flange is closer to the the spring seat. The spring seat has the same width as the V-8 falcon. I had two made. prototypes, they are precisely the same as the 8 inch spring perch from a 1963 Falcon Sprint. Flange to flange they are 50 3/4 inches wide. A very beautiful housing. It makes the original 8 inch housing look like a nail. Thanks Don

K-Code 9 inch rear end housings for sale 1000.00 each. 1964 1/2, 1965 and 1966 Mustang. Correct on every detail. I have some pre-built and I have just prototyped the 1963 Falcon and Comet housing just like the 8 inch housing except its a 9 inch with the big tubes and hardware. Same as the k- code Mustang but it is 50 3/4 inches from flange to flange. Beautiful. Just received the new falcon spring perches today and they are perfect. I also build the 1963,64,65 Fairlane housings for the K- code cars. Spot on and they are beautiful for you Fairlane K and Thunderbolt lovers. Web site coming soon! Don Quillen

I sell the correct housing you are wanting and all the hardware and instructions you will need for your car. I sell the 9 inch housing that came under the K-code cars and the shelbys 65 and 66. Call me at 931-698-1261 or email me at dq29686@aol.com My name is Don, thanks

I am the only person in the world that builds these correct rear housings!!!

The Holiday sale is over on the 9 inch housings for 1964 1/2 - 1965 and 1966 K- Code Housings. The powder coating didn't go over too well. All the new ones from now on will be primered and painted semi gloss Satin Black paint. The price will go back to $1,000.00 each. These housings are spot on with new tubes necked down from virgin 3 inch tubing. The new flanges are the same and are the small bearing flanges. The new spring perch is a nice addition to the housing as time has had its way on the old original spring perches. To finish making the housings authentic, I must still use good clean used center sections. I still have many around but the demand will soon dwindle the used inventory. Therefore I am starting to look at tooling costs etc. to be able to produce a new center section precisely the same as the used 60's Galaxie and 1966 center section which have a different back side with a hex fill plug. May we all have a more prosperous new year and I hope this economy gets back on track. Thank You Don Quillen, Mr. Hipo
