IN SEARCH OF...C7ZE Thermactor Heads !!!

  • I know, I know...I'm asking for a miracle..but what the hey!...I have got to at least try!...Right

I'm searching for a pair of thermactor C7ZE Hipo heads for a 7E4 assembled 67K motor. These heads are all that I required to complete the 100% accurate drive-train for my 7E15 built Fastback GT. The car is currently undergoing total nut 'n bolt rotiserrie restoration.

I do have a great pair of NON-thermactor 7E8 C7ZE heads for possible trade FOR THE ABOVE ONLY. (These heads are not for sale...so please, do not ask).

I will likely have this car for the rest of my life, along with all my other Mustangs...Sooo, please help me if you can. I will keep active this "Help Wanted" request until I can find them. If any eKschange member or guest can connect me with anyone who might own these, I would be forever greatful and monetarily gracious.

In the interim, I will consider a pair of thermactor C8, C9 or D0 Ford Service Replacement Hipo heads. These should be unmolested and standard valve size. Any leads sincerely appreciated.

Like many of you...I am not a dealer and have never sold any Mustang I have ever owned. I am simply a fanatic...and Luv my cars!

  • Years ago I sold a set of C7 6M22 thermactor heads to a guy in Sacramento. He had a 67 KFB and he needed that particular date.

Who knows, maybe he can help you. His name was Chris Smith but I no longer have his #.

  • I have 1 Thermactor head dated 6M22, looking for a 2nd, although I would be interested in non-thermo heads if dated before 7B15. Just in case you come across a lone head or another set.

  • MY NAME IS A C CHURCH I ALSO HAVE MANY MUSTANGS FROM 3 BIG BLOCK 1967 FASTBACKS AND 4 ELLINOES AND IN BETWEEN UP TO 2007 GT 500 SHELBY HAVE MANY PARTS OWN SALVAGE YARD JUST MUSTANGS OVER 200 BUT I DO HAVE A SET OF HI PO HEADS OVER COUNTER HAVE HAD 20 YEARS YES I WILL SELL ALSO EXTRA BLOCK AND 1965 COMPLETE 289 HI PO ENGINE 25.000 MILES MY NO 1 336 399 1406 OR EMAIL ME ACHURCH1@TRIAD.RR.COM I NEW TO THIS SITE BUT MAYBE I CAN HELP YOU WITH PARTS

  • Can ANYONE help me Please?

NOW is my last chance to locate a pair of 67K THERMACTOR heads (with a prior 7E1 cast date) before my 67K engine goes to the machine shop! This car has been Marti verified as 1 of 14 67K "Exhaust Emission Control" Mustangs produced (excluding 67 GT350s).

Anyway...the rest of car is coming along great and now it's time for the engine. I would prefer to locate the correct heads NOW vs. later to avoid a future engine teardown/replacement, if I ever find a pair.

This car when complete will likely be one of the best original examples and certianly one of the rarest of all K's.

All leads and assistance would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks...Bob

PS: if you would like to see pics of the car visit, r-amotorsports.com and check out the "Cars In The Shop"

I have a set of Thermactor castings. I will have to check the date codes. If I remember right, they were not date matched.

Marv...This could be my best option to date...Let me know the dates...It may be better than a pair of circa '70's C8ZE service heads...Thanks...Bob
