Check your closets, I need this 70's toy - Fun Fou

  • Maybe this is why you can't find one.

FRom some obscure safe kids website:

"15 Extremely Harmful Toys For Kids

In 1981, the CPSC recalled this creepy water toy. Even though this was before I was born, I still remember getting hit in the face with that stupid clown hat at least on one occasion. Regardless of the recall and the many eye injuries suffered by countless children, Wham-O continued to modify safer versions of this toy for years following. For those who remember this product (or a variation of it), this was the perfect toy to trick the new guy into getting smashed in the face by that damn clown hat."

    But good luck anyway.

    Found this for $100 http://www.retrocore.com/frontend/index…d&productId=142

  • Yep, I had my own share of bruised body parts with that thing. It's pretty much a power washer that will strip paint right off your windows and detatch your retina with little effort.... Why else do you think it is so much damn fun?

I also found that website, but my Spidey Sense was tingling on the vendor. When I tried to figure out what was up, I found his phone number to be disconnected and no contact information on the website. Looks like a scam to me.

  • Anybody up for a game of LAWN DARTS!!!Or how about Star Trek Phasers that shoot sharp flying discs across the room at warp speed?

It was so much fun growing up in the 60's and 70's - less "legalistic", less "PC", and way more fun.

    Cool cars and cool toys!!!

  • When we got hurt playing with toys our parents said, "I hope you learned your lesson." Now, everybody is looking for somebody else to blame and sue.
