I apologize to those who may think that this is an off topic post. Arguably it is, but I have struck out with no response on the FE Big Block Forum, so I thought I might try here, after all this a High Performance Ford Forum, and while for a different Ford product, it is most definitely a Ford related request.
I live in California, and for reasons not relevant here, my 63 R code Galaxy is being restored in Florida. For those who don't know it, 4 speed radiators for big block Galaxies are very hard to find, or at least they are for 63's. Shepards Auto Parts, a vintage Ford parts dealer in Manchester Kentucky has one of these. The problem is they won't ship radiators, or for that matter any other parts. I thought this very odd considering that they advertise in Hemmings.
The guy I spoke to said that they do enough walk in business that they don't need to ship, and so they don't. Manchester supposedly is 70 miles outside of Lexington Ky.
I was wondering if someone here on this Forum lives near Manchester, or knows someone who does, who would be willing to go pick this thing up, and then have it packed, and shipped to the shop restoring my car in Florida. I'd be more than willing to pay for your time, fuel, and expenses, in addition to the cost of purchase and shipping of course.
I do have a radiator from an automatic car, but I really want to get a 4 speed unit if I can.
