NOT a Hipo Fuel Pump

Here is an Ebay auction for a 3939-S Hipo fuel pump by Ebay member "p.matth8" with a starting bid of $50.00:

Vintage 1965, 1966 289 Ford Mustang fuel pump. May be a HIPO. Really hard to read stamping looks like 3939S and date is very blurry. Will need a rebuild. Have a good look at pictures.

This one should be obvious to our members here for NOT being original. It is poorly stamped and a later CARTER casting than what would be correct for the application. It also does not have the 1965 style fuel filter canister that would be on a 3939-S pump. I will let other members have their say on this one.

This 3939-S Hipo fuel pump NOT a Hipo pump sold March 23. 2025 on Ebay for $64.00 with 8 bids from 3 bidders.

Unfortunately, none of the pieces of this pump are correct for a Hipo pump, even a lookalike.
