Just a piece of information here, the Konis were a Shelby addition and were not a standard Hipo 289 shock.

What was the standard hipo 289 shock?
C5ZZ 18124 C is the Ford part number for the front shock specific to 1965 and 1966 Hipo 289 Mustangs. The stamping number on the front shock will be C4ZF 18045 E, C5ZF 18045 B or C6ZF 18045 B. C5ZZ 18125 B is the Ford part number for the rear shock specific to the Hipo 289 Mustang. The stamping number on the rear shock will be C4ZF 18080 A, C4ZF 18080 B or C4ZF 18080 C.. They were considered to be a heavy duty shock and were available over the counter for other Mustangs but were standard on the Hipo 289 Mustang.
