Alternator Top Bolt

Am I going crazy or is there a different bolt for HIPO heads? The bolt from the current engine 302 as well as the kit I got from AMK are a larger thread (7/16-14) than what is on my heads (3/8-16). I am talking the 5 1/2 long bolt that has the block spacer.

It sounds to me like you have generator heads from an early engine.
