This particular car was owned by the senior designer for the fastback body style at the ford factory by the name of t.l. land.. The vehicle was actually designed in the ford design center-fairyland| falcon and mustang studio in 1961 - 1962. As senior designer| m.land ordered this vehicle with a high performance engine| handling package and the following special equipment: special order 1966 Lincoln continental metallic mist grey paint {possibly the only 1965 mustang with that color} - one of a kind porto type grill - Shelby aluminum valve covers - instrument package - 4 speed top motor transmission - 9’’ rear end - 289 hipo - 271hp engine - disc brakes - deluxe pony interior!. This is restored car with the original vin# stamped on the engine and transmission and has the original correct 9’’ rear end. This is a very special car a unique history of having the actual designer customize this car in the ford production plant for his own personal ride!!!. This car comes with no color code.. Very few mustangs were made with no color code because they were built for the ford executives and they could choose whatever color they desired.. This car is one of those cars and probably the only one painted metallic mist grey.. This car has the original black California plate and original owners manual!.
