Help Needed: 67 rear springs on a 66?

Does anyone know if 67 rear springs also fit a 66? I recently bought new 66 rear springs from a major parts house, I went to install them and noticed they have 67 P/N. Before I wrestle with them I want to know it they are compatible.

The last available Ford generic replacement spring for the 65 and 66 Mustangs was a C7ZZ 5560 M. That is probably the part number that you see painted on the spring. It will work but is not really correct.

My 66 fastback has C7ZA 5556AR springs so I would think they would work ok. I would be interested in trading for a set of 66 fastback springs if anyone has a set.
