    I have a few pairs of original 289 hipo (k code) specific 65 66 rear shock absorbers that I have collected over many years and have recently been rediscovered in my collection of parts
    these are not restored examples but are genuine pieces that deserve the correct cars.

    A friend of mine is seeking Fomoco/Autolite/Gabriel adjustable shocks for his 66 Hertz car. He apparently has good information so I would agree that K code shocks are not the same.

  • Thank you all for this information.It looks like what I need will have to come from a shock rebuilding/duplicating company as these are the Gabriel made Fomoco script adjustable shocks.
