Here is an Ebay auction for a used high profile 8K Rally Pac by Ebay member "vankirks2006" with a Buy-It-Now of $285.00:

Up for sale is an Original 1965 Mustang Rally Pac Tach and Clock w/New Feed Cable, Wire Bracket and Rubber Pads. The lower mounting bracket appears to be missing. If I locate it before shipping it will be included. I bought this for my '65 Mustang project, but have sold the project and this is now available. Hard to find part in nice shape.

This listing is for a 1965 Rally Pac sometimes called a Rally Pack. This was used on the early "Falcon" er style wide speedometer instrument clusters starting April 1964, for the 1965 model year, unless it was the 5 gauge cluster.

This is 50 years old. It has not been cradled its whole life. I did not buy it new. It was not just removed from an original Shelby.

I have tested it, and the tach works well, and the clock seems to work, but the clocks from Day 1 were junk. This clock has been restored at some point (has a rebuild sticker on it), but I would seriously consider having a quartz mechanism installed. It is original Ford, not a reproduction. This will also fit a Falcon or Fairlane.

This will NOT interchange with the Scott Drake Reproduction. NONE of the parts are the same, from the casing to the gauges. They are close, but do not interchange with the originals.

There will be scratches, chips, fading in the chrome, cuts in the wire, and other flaws on a 50+ year old item.

One wire has been cut, but I will include an extra Ford end for it. If you look closely, you will see the 8K tach has some waviness in the letters. The can is close to new looking, not rusted or pranged.

This will be shipped Insured FedEx, so I will need a physical address, not a PO Box.

This is a real deal 1965 Mustang 8,000 RPM Rally Pac assembly. The Rally Pac is one of the coolest gauge clusters of the muscle car era. There were quite a few of these rally pacs made in the 6,000 RPM version. However, the 8,000 RPM version like the one you see here was reserved for the K code High Performance 289//271HP engine only. Even the original column mounting bracket is intact and in good shape. The tach has been tested and works flawlessly throughout the RPM band with no sticking or hesitation.
