I guess there just isn't enough demand for these engines. I have basically the same thing, a .030 over 5-bolt HiPo engine (minus HiPo rods), for sale $1000 cheaper than that one and have had almost no interest in it. Mine has forged pistons and includes the flywheel.

I actually have a couple of these myself sans flywheel but with Hipo rods. I have not been actually trying to sell mine, though.

I guess that the transmission could pass as a toploader if you turned it on its side to remove the side cover. Other than that, it is a T10. The transmission has a Fairlane tail housing making the transmission longer than a Mustang and the shifter mounts further forward than the Mustang position. There was no special Hipo 289 pump in 1964 and most likely this pump is for a Fairlane and not a Mustang as they are different at the inlet and outlet clocking.
