    A solid #2 car that was restored several years ago, currently Poppy Red with White Vinyl and Black Appointment the car is very presentable with only minor paint blemishes from everyday use. Factory options include power steering by Eaton, rally wheels, rally-pac, center console, and the K-Code High Performance 289 V8 coupled to a 4-speed manual gearbox. The car retains its original tags and is numbers matching, and has not been modified mechanically retaining its original exhaust and intake manifolds, as well as the correct autolite carburetor.   • Judging by the fuel line and a closer look at the picture, the correct Autolite carburetor appears to actually be a Holley.

  • I can vouch for the rear end housing being correct as I sold it and delivered it to them a while back. The Kar was sitting in the back lot at the dealership at the time where the pictures were taken. I did not pay much attention to the Kar at the time as it was the dealerships owners car and was not for sale at the time. If someone needs an inspection on this Kar I can arrange one for you.

  • They are asking $42,000 for the Kar. The correct heads, exhaust manifolds and carburetor are supposed to be in the trunk. They believe that the engine block and trans are original but they have not verified this. An inspection would definitrely be in order on this one.
