The auction ended late in the day, on March 21, 2008. I suspect the buyer is still waiting to receive / see the car, therefore waiting to post any type of feedback. The seller, most likely, is witholding his feedback until the buyer posts his. This is a typical eBay feedback scenario.

1965 Ford Mustang Coupe orig high performance 289 K code. approx 1 percent production were factory 289 high performance "K" equiped. body numbers match door tag fact 9 inch rear end (tapered tubes) early GT optioned car (march 65) 3.50 open rear-now traction loc factory black ext/ blk std int.- new carpet 8k rallye pac- one pic shows it's working! 4 speed trans 1" sway bar and Flaming River steering box. (better response than the fact steering box) Engine details - later 289 block. correct hipo heads (dated dec/64)-solid lifters, correct cast iron intake, hipo fan,fomoco hipo dist(pertronix installed) correct wide hipo c5 harmonic balancer, hipo exh manifolds. new 3 core rad/shroud. autolite 4v carb stamped c4of-al (early hipo carb) eng bay all correct except for the later production 289 eng block- I believe 6K18- (oct/66) oil pan has some dents-will include a gold painted 289 pan. engine fires up right away- no smoke, no drips at all, adjusted lifters earlier this year- lifter gallery clean as a whistle. when I purchased car it had a silver electric choke carb installed (holley I think) hipo carb was included. holley ran better but I didn't like the non factory look so I put on the orig style hipo carb (idles high and a bit balky) will include holley. Body condition- paint still shines -some scratches here and there (driver quality plus) still holds it's own at the shows! call it a 10 footer!. rear floor pan professionaly installed 2007 new carpet set installed at that time. front pans still fine. rear qtrs untouched -rear frame rails great( dual exh gussets there) torque boxes good -trunk all orig condition. no evidence of patches in qtrs or drop offs. fact disc brakes with orig proportioning valve- new rear cylinders - reproduction 65 styled steel wheels red glass pack mufflers- unique sound! (cherry bombs I think) passed gov't safety check - car listed in the hipo registry previous owner bought car in texas -drove home to california where car resided from late 80's to 2006 (late '06 when I bought it) shipping is sole responsibility of winning bidder. to be shipped from sumas wa. 98295 if usa bound reasonable reserve as is condition good luck
