• This used damper SOLD for an amazing $791.99! (Can anyone explain how to verify the seller's claim that it came off Shelby #144?)

    DESCRIPTION:

This is a correct balancer for a 289 HiPo engine. The balancer is correct for a late 64 to early 65 Mustang and Shelby engines. It has a 4K date (Oct 64). The balancer originally came off of Shelby car # 144. It has the correct C5OE casting number. I have freshly glass beaded it and have NOT painted it to show the excellent condition of it. The rubber ring is in perfect condition with only very minor surface cracking. The seal surface is great with a very small wear groove.

  • This used balancer was SOLD for $650.00.

    DESCRIPTION:

This a factory Ford 271 HiPo balancer which has been on my shelf for over 25 years. I had it professionally blasted & painted. The rubber liner is in near mint condition, but the flat "pulley" surface has a couple of very minor tap marks which I couldn't see until the paint was on. You will never see them with the pulley on. The "seal" surface is very nice. This balancer is probably as near to NOS as you will find. The pictures show that it is the proper width balancer and not the stepped service replacement. It has a build code of "J5" (October 1965). I have recently seen these sell for $400.00 for a completly beat up unit to nearly $800.00 for a nice one like this. Prices in U.S. dollars, payment within 10 days. Buyer to pay shipping from 98295.
