1967 K-codes

Probably a stupid question, but I seem to be under the impression that the 289 HiPo option in 1967 production was available only in the Mustang GT. Is that true?

Yes, that has also been my observation. I believe a good friend of mine asked Kevin Marti this once and confirmed all '67 K Mustangs (non-Shelby) were GT's.
