Many on this forum have asked about or commented on the complexity in translating date codes from part to part, since there is not a consistent method in dating the different parts. I have puzzled over the variety of date code styles on my 1965, and I am only dealing with one production year.
Has anyone on the forum seen a book that compiles ALL of the date-coding methods used on these cars and their parts? I've read several books that have interpreted date codes for this part or that part, but have not found one that does it all. It seems that there is either a book out there, or a need for one. Suggestions, anyone?
