Autolite decal on air cleaner?

Where does the decal go to be correct? mine was put on the passengers side at the 9 0'clock position and some seem to say it should be at 12 0'clock dirrectly oposite the "289 Hipo" decal....

At the back is probably the most common, but either should be acceptable.

OK, Thanks! so if the decal were put on the back at the factory and a mechanic or owner really wanted to read it it would be somewhat of a challenge IMO......

It depends on how much the union factory worker had to drink the night befor. They were put anywhere no judge or any one for that matter knows the correct answer on the correct placement
