Exhaust Manifolds On or Off?

    Actually, they are still doing some of the painting just like that! A few years ago, I took a tour of the Doraville GM plant in Atlanta.


    At the painting station for steering columns, they were coming by twirling on an overhead conveyor. The guy painting didn't have on a mask or any protective equipment.


    At the GM plant, JUST LIKE IN THE DEARBORN VIDEO, if you look closely, you can see a "waterfall" down the wall behind the parts being painted. Every bit of overspray is either vacuumed downward into the creek or gets captured by the waterfall.


    There was absolutely no umes or paint smell at all!
