'65 Rear valance panel

I just noticed on my rear valance on my '65 GT with b/u lamps that there are 2 small "dings" just to the right of the right b/u light, looks as if the valance was painted with the dings there, are they some type of plant-specific "marking" that is supoest to be there to be correct?

These "dings" are the spot welds where the inside attaching brackets are spot welded on each side.

Agree with Brant. Would expect to see them on a properly restored car.
