More ribbed tubing.....

I found an interesting little detail today while getting the rear end housing ready to remove from my '66 coupe. The axle rubber vent tube is original, with the factory installed crimped clamp still in place. The house is in surprisingly great shape. Recalling several recent topics discussing the various ribbed rubber tubing applications, I noticed the vent tube is also ribbed! Just thought I'd pass the info along!

Yep, I've seen that too! I think every rubber hose will either have ribbing or an ink stamp to ID the manufacturer.

I HAVE HAD SOME RECALL SERVICE KITS TO PUT AXLE VENTS ON HOUSING AND IT CAME WITH ATTACHING HARDWARE AND HOSE WHICH HAD YELLOW PAINT DAB ON HOSE AND WAS RIBBED THEY HAD A C3AZ PART#
