Glove Box Light?

    My car has been equipped with a glove box light during its restoration, looks like the switch is there and the "lens" thats attached to the box liner but no light when I open the door...how do I check to see if there IS a bulb in the socket or the wireing?? do I need to remove the liner?

    The exposed push button switch should pull out with the bulb attached. It's a tight fit and you "may" get the hot lead grounded so be careful. If you resort to prying, put a piece of tape where you pry from. Replacement units had an attached ground wire (originals were grounded thru the retainer), and that ground lead sometimes get hung up.
