"1966 K code Ford Mustang Coupe. Older restoration. Engine is a correct K code engine but not numbers matching. Engine was overhauled when restored in 1986, rings, timing chain, bearings, new cam, carb by Pony Carbs. Tranmission is original 4 speed, rear end not original. Original floor pans, rear 1/4's. Color is correct Signal Flare Red, black Pony Deluxe interior. Front seat recovered, rear seat is original upholestry. Newer fuel tank, NIght/Day mirror, wood steering wheel, wood grain console, dash,glove box, factory 4 way flashers, dealer installed seat belts dated coded 1967, , left vanity mirror, factory front disc brakes, deluxe rims, newer correct plug wiring.Cobra style hood scoop was installed by original owner when new. It is a Ford documented add on part. Have copy of part number and order number from 66. I am 3rd owner. Original owner was son of local Ford dealer. He restored it in his shop in 1986 and I have driven it very little over the years since then. Cars shows and just enough to keep it running and lubed, roughly 1/2 tank of gas a year. Have original window sticker and lots of dealer documentaion. Dealer key FOB and dealership sticker on rear bumper. Always garaged by all owners. Shows well at car shows, always a conversation piece. Few coupes were loaded up like this".
