wanted hex base pcv

I'm looking for a pcv valve correct for 66. I believe it should be a C5AZ or C6AZ with a hex base, hose connection.

C5AZ (C5AE engineering number) is the hex base hose connection valve. C6AZ (C6AE engineering number) is a round base hose connection. All the mag test articles I have for 65-early 66 GT350's show the C5AZ valve but I'm wondering if anyone knows when the C6AZ valve came into production?

not sure myself,C5AZ valve is the one I'm looking for, I've seen folks use one with threads with hose an ya can't realy tell.It would be nice to have correct one, hopefully it will not be to hard to find unlike fuel pump.

They show up on ebay occasionally.

I purchased a NOS threaded one for $25.

The hose connection one (NOS) is harder to find and usually goes for around $75-$100.

This is why so many people use the threaded one.

You can search the salvage yards for one - they were used on a ton of old Fords.

I have one round base pcv valve, with C6AE-6A666B2, and several round base pcv valves with both C9OE-6A666 as well as C6AZ-6A666 on it. $50.00 each, Paul.
