4100 manual choke

  • I have reproduced an exact copy of the hipo manual choke pieces for the 4100. Anyone interested can contact me at s.sc@knology.net. Price is $65 I also reproduced the over the counter racing part vacuum override piece for the 4100 to turn the carb into a manual secondary. $20 for this item

  • how does the body resemble the manual choke 4100?<img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

  • There are some pictures around of the 4100 Hipo carb and of an automatic choke 4100, I've never compaired them side by side, I understand that there is a choke stop cast in as part of the body of the Hipo unit.

BTW doesn't Pony also reproduce these pieces as well??

Speaking of Pony is everyone aware that Jon is battling Brain Cancer?

  • how accurate is the choke cam and lever reproduction. I purchased 1 from Pony Carbs for $60.00 Pony Carb's reproduced part doesn't even come close to looking like the original part, still not happy with the part

  • If anybody would like pics of these pieces they can email me at s.sc@knology.net and I will gladly send them to you. I bought a hipo carb years ago and had exact duplicates made of the pieces. The only piece that doesn't match some carbs is the choke rod as I have seen 2 different styles. I only sell the style with the clip in the middle instead of the swedge type. This is because my original came with this style. Also the plastic piece and choke plate lever are different on a hipo carb. I include these pieces but it is not necessary to change them out if you use the plastic piece from your automatic choke. Steve
