289 HIPO Pistons part number??

I am working with a member on selling him my original pistons from my '65 289 HIPO.

Acording to the 4th edition of Tony's book the part number is C30Z-6108-L, my pistons have C40E-6110-L I am trying to make 100% sure that these original pistons are IN FACT THE ORIGINALS....can anyone help?? Thanks!!

C4OE-6110-A is correct for the HiPo pistons after the larger intake valves were installed. Standard pistons would be C4AE-6110-L

The HiPo received the larger intake valves about April, '64.

I have cleaned a few of the pistons up and found that the last letter is in fact an "A" not a "4" or an "L" this was from a July 1965 built K car.

The numbers on the Pistons are Engineering Numbers. Remember that Part Numbers only appeared on the packaging. If there is a number on the part, it is an Engineering Number.
