exhaust & trim parts wanted

  • Need help with a few items for my restoration:

Exhaust hanger #C5ZZ-5A246-L for final installation of my Arvinode set up. If anyone has a spare or one they aren't going to use I'm hoping they can cut it loose.

65 grille bars that would be suitable for rechroming or a set of NOS bars.

NOS standard rear view mirror and side view mirror.

    Thanks.

  • To: Dave Wallace. Hope this gets to you OK, first try on the hipo registry. I just bought a 65 K coupe in Calif which is presently on it's way to Australia. Car is unrestored. My car has a San Jose build date of 12-29-64 so I'm guessing it may have had the Arvinode type exhaust which I have to say just fascinates the hell out of me. I read all the forum info & would just like to ask how have you progressed with getting the system reproduced ?? I believe I'd like to have such a system if it was correct for the car. I did just manage to buy a NOS hipo head pipe assembly.

Anyway, not sure how much, if any of an exhaust system will remain on my car, very interesting topic.

    Cheers, Phil

  • Phil,

Congratulations on the car. My car has a build date of 12-30-64 so it's a day later than yours. When you get the car if it truly is unrestored please add to these threads when you get a chance to look it over:

The Arvinode is being produced and sold by Waldron's and you can order it here:
