To: Dave Wallace. Hope this gets to you OK, first try on the hipo registry. I just bought a 65 K coupe in Calif which is presently on it's way to Australia. Car is unrestored. My car has a San Jose build date of 12-29-64 so I'm guessing it may have had the Arvinode type exhaust which I have to say just fascinates the hell out of me. I read all the forum info & would just like to ask how have you progressed with getting the system reproduced ?? I believe I'd like to have such a system if it was correct for the car. I did just manage to buy a NOS hipo head pipe assembly.
Anyway, not sure how much, if any of an exhaust system will remain on my car, very interesting topic.
