Early 1965 intake

  • I have one with a 4G17 date, C50E-9425-A.

I was saving it for my Mom's K code coupe with A code drive train, but she may be selling it.

I would have to do some research for pricing, unless you want make me an offer that I can't refuse........<img src=images/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

  • Tim,

I am watching some auctions as well to figure a fair price.

Why do people always paint these early intakes blue instead of black???????

Anyway, I took this one off my 65 C code fastback 2 years ago and replaced it with a correct 2v intake.

It was lightly cleaned up and wrapped in a plastic bag for storage.

I think shipping is around $50-$60 dollars, as that is what I paid to have mine shipped from Washington state.

  • $405 for a cast iron 4V intake?!?!?!?! <img src=images/icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=images/icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>

  • Really I wouldn't even post some of these so called sold at prices especially if it's on E-Bay as it's as corrupt as you could find.Cast iron 4 barrel intake is $50 just about at all the swap meets you go to but Columbus and anyone pay that kind of money for one I want to sell some.Oh but I know mine wouldn't be worth that same kind of money!

  • I purchased the one on Ebay prior to the auctions close. I paid $125 including shipping for the intake. The seller forgot to close the auction, so I placed a bid of $650, the seller then asked a friend to bid the item up, so that someone else didn't win the auction. The net of it is the seller and I bid up the intake so that the intake didn't sell to someone else in error. The intake sold for about $100, that is all. Thanks to all that tried to help. Tim
