What is a 0-1719 Carter fuel pump for??

  • I have a 0-1719 Carter fuel pump that we thought was THE original from my July 1965 Dearborn "K" Convertible.

The car has been in storage from sometime in 1974 until I started to dis-assemble the engine recently.

The pump still has the cut off piece of fuel hose with the factory crimped on clamp on it.

I can see inside of it and see a second spring in addition to the one that rides in the groove of the arm.

It IS a button-top and the "carBUREtor" on the side that faces the firewall.

Do I have the correct pump??? (It IS the crimp together style)Thanks!

  • O-1719 is the number of the body that was used on various Carter fuel pumps. There should be a number stamped on the underside flange, that will be the model # of the pump.
